Where's The Sword?!??!?! This is BOLLOCKS!!!!
It was about number 16 I think. Other answer: lodged in a rock.
Btw, the name of this study is NQL Powers's Power Poll.
Also, just out of curiosity, I looked at songs and "Kids" by MGMT just barely edged out Wolf Parade's "Kissing the Beehive." Also, last year's album winner was Menomena's Friend & Foe. Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga was second and In Rainbows third.
This study was rigorous, and the omission of The Sword is based on pure numbers. The NQL/Powers Power Poll don't lie.
What about in the all important "Alien v. Predator" category? I forgot to cast my vote. It is Dutch.
I first used a formula analogous to the one used to determine the BCS standings. Using that formula, number 1 was Ohio St., number 5 was freezing rain and number 9 was Mountain Dew Code Red (or, as the French call it, Code Rouge). Those results seemed a little off, so I tweaked the formula.
