NQL Expanding Into Washington, DC!

Memo to the East Coast: You can’t stop us and you don’t want to try. After NQL swept this week’s PLUG Awards, we have decided to again expand our far-reaching tentacles to the nation’s capital. In a couple of weeks, we will start covering the District and surrounding area with the same ferocious zeal that we’ve tackled Chicago, Louisville, and Bloomington. The Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby t-shirt is coming out of storage and the Dexter Manley poster is going back up on the wall.

Chicago remains and always will remain our home. Our friend and yours, Anna Deem, will begin as our primary Chicago correspondent. And I will continue to fly back and forth on special weekends and will definitely be around for the big events (Pitchfork, Lolla, etc.) How all of this impacts the summer music festival has yet to be determined but we’ve found nothing bad has ever happened from an enterprise expanding.

Good luck with the move Alex. If you need recommendations for Vietnamese or Thai food just let me know. And how lucky for you to be joining the nation's finest right at Cherry Blossom time. (If you're like any other Midwesterner, though, I suspect you'll be planning your escape within the next two months...)
